D&S Car Wash Equipment Co. introduces a new rollover, friction system, the Odyssey Soft Touch, the first entry for D&S in the friction category designed for self-service carwashes and convenience stores. The new system is constructed of lightweight, durable aluminum and features a pressure sensitive top foam brush and four side foam brushes that wrap around a vehicle to provide a thorough, high-quality wash. Aluminum construction allows overhead installation that promotesa cleaner, open-bay appearance and easier system installation. Real-time brush speed and pre-programmed “wrap around” mode ensure overlap of the four-side foam brushes to effectively reach the front and rear of the vehicle, eliminating any possibility of “skunk striping” at the rear of larger vehicles. Other innovative features of the Odyssey include Wheel Blaster technology for high pressure cleaning of the wheels & tires, rocker panels and wheel wells.
