U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co. (USSTC) is rolling out new packaging for its Copenhagen line of moist smokeless tobacco (MST) products. As the first across-the-board packaging change since the brand expanded beyond one product in 1996, the new packaging is designed to provide a more consistent look for the entire line and better communicate Copenhagen’s premium quality. The new packaging will be found on original Copenhagen Snuff, Copenhagen Long Cut, Copenhagen Pouches and bourbon-flavored Copenhagen Black. In early 2007, it will be applied to the line’s latest offering, Copenhagen Long Cut Straight, which was just launched in February. The new packaging has been designed to uniformly communicate each SKU’s cut and flavor.
