Wilson Farms has signed an agreement with The Nielsen Co. to facilitate the collection and reporting of their scan information.
Wilson Farms is a locally owned New York-based convenience store chain that operates 199 stores across the state. Under the agreement between the two companies, Wilson Farms will make scanner-based sales information available to Nielsen for inclusion in its ConvenienceTrack retail measurement service, including account-level reporting. At the same time, Nielsen will provide Wilson Farms with market-level retail and consumer information that the company will use to benchmark its results and work with manufacturers to improve category management and performance.
“We are pleased to partner with The Nielsen Co. to make our point-of-sale information available to the marketplace as part of ConvenienceTrack,” said Nick Gallegos, vice president of sales and marketing and general partner of Wilson Farms Inc. “In addition, this agreement will enhance the capability of our category managers and supplier partners to make fact-based and consumer-driven decisions.”
