A large Midwest Culligan water treatment and bottled water dealership is becoming even larger by acquiring Prestige Coffee/Coffee Time, which operates coffee services in Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Nebraska. With the purchase, Hall’s Culligan Water, which owns and operates 12 Culligan dealerships in five Midwest states, will increase its 173-employee base by 45 percent and add more than 50 trucks to its fleet, according
to an announcement from Hall’s.
“This [coffee service] business is a good strategic fit,” C.R. Hall, president and owner of Hall’s, said in the company statement. “The customers and employees are first-rate, both companies cover similar territories, and the addition of Prestige Coffee service will allow our employees to grow their markets and expand services for existing customers.”
C.R. Hall has been a Culligan dealer since 1988 and has been president of both the Culligan Dealers Association of North America and the Water Quality Association. His Wichita-based company’s water treatment and bottled water dealerships are located in Arkansas, Kansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Missouri and Nebraska.
Prestige Coffee, also based in Wichita, provides coffee services to businesses, institutions, convenience stores, restaurants and coffee shops, also offering other beverage and food products. It has depots in 12 cities.
“We are delighted that C.R. Hall will be taking over Prestige Coffee Systems and are confident that this strategic change will allow Prestige to grow and improve. C.R.’s vision is a bright one and we trust him to continue to provide exceptional service and products to Prestige’s client base,” said Daron Cox, president of Prestige Coffee.
