Twenty-six units acquired by Giant Oil.
BP has made a deal with Tampa, Fla.-based Giant Oil Co., selling off 26 stations in the Akron, Ohio area.
While the details to the deal were not disclosed, a BP spokesperson told the AkronBeacon Journal that the deal was running as a typical business procedure for the worldwide petroleum giant. BP went on to say that the newly sold stations will continue to run under the current BP banners.
BP currently owns 14,000 stations in the U.S., 300 of which are located within 50 miles of Akron, Ohio.
