VERC Enterprises, an independent convenience store and gasoline station operator in New England, presented the Cold Spring Elementary School in Plymouth with a check for $500, a grant made possible through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program.
The $500 grant can be used for a broad range of academic enhancement or sports programs.
Since 2000, the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program has contributed roughly $13 million to local schools through its Exxon and Mobil retailers.
"We’re proud to participate in such a fine program that recognizes and supports the quality of local schools," said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises.
