Lettieri’s has launched its newest grab-n-go lunch specialty item, Meatball Wrapz. The sandwich combines the demand for a high quality specialty sub with the need for portability to accommodate the consumer’s busy lifestyle. Greg Dornbach, senior vice president of sales and marketing, said the new Meatball Wrapz was designed to deliver a slightly spicy meatball with a “just-right” bite consumers preferred during the product’s taste tests. Meatball Wrapz are fully prepared and merchandised in Lettieri’s signature window bag with four color label for enhanced visual appeal. Each Meatball Wrapz is quick-frozen for sealed in freshness and ready to heat and eat using microwave, convection or TurboChef technology. Meatball Wrapz come packed 12 to a case and the 4.70-ounce item’s suggested retail is $1.99 to $2.29.
