Clark Brands LLC, which licenses the Clark gas brand and Four Corners Coffee brand in 25 states, is expanding its relationship with a division of CBC, an Illinois-based marketing services company.
Clark Brands will expand its use of C-Buying, a division of CBC, which will provide new ways for the company to help increase operators’ margins and revenue through educational tools, training, preferred pricing, special promotions and traditional services, including discount and rebate programs.
Clark Brands, of Naperville, Ill., licenses its gas and coffee brands to independent petroleum marketers and retailers. The licensees manage their own petroleum supply. CBC, based in Westmont, Ill., is the largest buying group for independent operators in the petroleum, convenience store and automotive industries. The company serves a network of more than 15,500 members.
“We are excited to introduce C-Buying for Clark to our licensees and their locations,” said Karl Goodhouse, president of Clark Brands LLC. “C-Buying is much more than a traditional buying group. In addition to preferred pricing for convenience products, C-Buying will also offer a broad spectrum of new products and services to our customers that will enhance their businesses and further increase the value of the Clark Brand for them.”
