Dunkin’ Donuts ambitious national expansion program continues to grow, as two more states have been pegged for dozens of new franchise locations within the next several years.
The company said it is looking at the Grand Rapids, Mich., market as a place for 70 new restaurants over the next several years, with sites located in Grand Rapids and the surrounding counties of Kalamazoo, Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa, Oceana, Newaygo, St. Joseph, Branch, Calhoun, Van Buren, Barry, Allegon, Ionia and Montcalm.
The company also recently announced that Detroit, Flint and Lansing are also open for franchise sales with plans to introduce more than 100 new restaurants in the next several years in those three areas and the counties surrounding them.
In Alabama, Dunkin’ Donuts is looking to franchise more than 142 new restaurants over the next several years, with markets in Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Additionally, franchises will be sold in Pensacola, Fla.
