Dunkin’ Donuts has signed Capital Franchise Group Inc. to a multi-store development agreement that will bring 34 restaurants to Mississippi’s Jackson, Tupelo and Greenwood areas, the companies said.
In addition to the 34-unit agreement, Dunkin’ Donuts is seeking new and existing franchisees to purchase a minimum of five restaurants in the areas around Memphis and western Tennessee. Dunkin’ Donuts development in the state of Mississippi is part of an aggressive national growth strategy that includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities across the country to help direct the company’s future growth.
"With the state of Mississippi recently opened for franchise sales, we are excited to welcome Capital Franchise Group to the market," said Lynette McKee, vice president of franchising for Dunkin’ Brands Inc. Additional Dunkin’ Donuts franchising sales opportunities also exist in Dayton, Ohio, and Grand Rapids and Detroit, Mich., as well as other markets.
"We are proud to bring Dunkin’ Donuts’ to the state of Mississippi" said Joe Sherman, chairman of Capital Franchise Group. "I’m excited about this great product now being available here in Mississippi."
Dunkin’ Donuts recently launched its new, all-day Oven-Toasted menu. The new platform marks the most significant change to Dunkin’ Donuts product lineup since the company launched espresso-based beverages in 2003. The menu items are now available nationwide in participating restaurants.
