Clark Brands LLC of Naperville, IL and Gilbarco Veeder-Root have entered a strategic alliance that covers point of sale (POS) systems as well as installation services and Gilbarco Fuel Management Services (FMS.) As part of the agreement, Clark and Gilbarco are offering Clark customers a program to upgrade locations that are currently operating G-SITE POS systems to Gilbarco’s Passport POS systems.
Clark licenses the Clark gasoline brand and the Four Corners Coffee brand and processes credit, debit and gift transactions for more than 650 independent petroleum marketers in 26 states.
In the first phase of this strategic alliance, Clark and Gilbarco have developed a comprehensive program, including significant funding by Clark, for Clark customers to transition their G-SITE locations to Passport. Future initiatives are under development, including a leasing option with a third party vendor and programs for other POS devices.
