Innovative Beverage Group Holdings Inc. has signed on New York distributor Good-O Beverage Co., an affiliate of the Honickman Group, to distribute “drank,” the world’s first extreme relaxation beverage.
Good-O Beverage will distribute drank throughout the five boroughs of New York, Westchester, Rockland, and Nassau counties as well as the state of Connecticut.
As part of the launch, a caravan of brightly-colored drank mobiles will descend on Manhattan giving out samples in hopes of offering a new form of relaxation to harried New Yorkers.
Started in 1947 and headquartered in Bronx, N.Y., Good-O Beverage Co. is one of the largest beverage distributors in the New York area with more than 6,000 active accounts. The company distributes Monster, Arizona Ice Tea, Welch’s, Crush and other well known national beverage brands, and foresees tremendous success with the addition of drank
Joe Pignatella, sales manager for Good-O, said word of mouth about drank has already created demand for the product.
“We are very enthusiastic about adding drank to our portfolio of products, and this naturally relaxing beverage is just what this fast-paced, high-stress tri-state area needs,” Pignatella said. “With its delicious taste and natural calming effects, drank is the only beverage of its kind in the marketplace. We’ve already received advance orders and lots of interest from our regular retailers.”
Peter Bianchi, CEO of Innovative Beverage Group Holdings, and the creator of drank, agrees. “We are very excited to be working with a New York distributor who understands the unique qualities of our product and can deliver the kind of attention and distribution that will satisfy demand for drank and help the NY/Metropolitan area calm down and relax naturally. With the help of Good-O’s strong client relationships and enthusiasm for the product, we know that drank will be a household word in the New York area in no time.”
Made with natural melatonin, valerian root and rose hips, drank is the world’s first "Extreme Relaxation Beverage" and is quickly capturing the attention of the American public as the first beverage of its kind for people looking to “slow their roll” without resorting to medication, sleep aids or alcohol.
The grape-flavored, lightly carbonated drink comes in a bright purple 16-ounce can, and is being introduced into a world where energy drinks have saturated the market, and have recently come under scrutiny for their effects on the body. With its opposite or anti-energy properties, drank calms, soothes and relaxes, and can encourage restful sleep without grogginess come time to wake-up.
