Atlas Oil Company, of Taylor, Mich., said it has named Maher Najjar as chief information officer (CIO).
As a strategic partner with the Atlas Leadership Team, Najjar will use IT to streamline technical, accounting and administrative processes and procedures to meet Atlas Oil’s business objectives, the company said.
Najjar began his career at Atlas in June this year as director of commercial systems and support. Prior to that, he worked for Arrow Uniform as vice president and CIO.
Najjar comes to Atlas Oil as an executive leader with a strong background in planning, developing and implementing cutting-edge information solutions to address business opportunities.
In other news, Atlas Oil is presenting a promotion by Kodak at one of its Michigan stores, though the location isn’t being announced until today.
Kodak will provide 100 people the chance to experience the KODAK ESP 5 All-in-One Printer, as well as receiving half off their tank of gas at the first-ever “Kodak is Driving Down the Price of Ink” event. Kodak is aiming to help customers save up to 50% on everything they print.
Radio station WKQI 955 FM announced the Atlas Oil gas station at noon on Sept. 17. The first 100 licensed drivers who arrived at the site in non-commercial vehicles had an opportunity to save up to $40 off a tank of gas, as well as see the new ESP 5 All-in-One printer, compliments of Kodak.
