City officials in Milton recently received building plans from Sheetz Inc. outlining its plans to build a store in that town, The Cabell Standard in West Virginia reported.

MaryAlice Rudolph, code official for the city of Milton, said plans have been submitted but permits haven’t been requested yet, the newspaper reported.

Rudolph told the newspaper she expects to be visited by contractors in the next few months to determine how the project will proceed, but added that it was her understanding that Sheetz also submitted building plans to the neighboring towns of Barboursville – about 10 miles west of Milton – and Hurricane, which is about 10 miles east of Milton.
