Dunkin’ Donuts, Canton, Mass., has signed a multi-unit store development agreement with Giant Oil Inc, Tampa Bay, Fla., and will develop of 12 restaurants in Dayton, Ohio.
The first unit will open in 2011, and the rest will open for business within the next five years.
In addition to the 12 units purchased by Giant Oil Inc., Dunkin’ is still looking for new franchisees to develop a minimum of three restaurants in Dayton, including the surrounding areas of Springfield, Tipp City, Middletown, Eaton and Lima.
Dunkin’ Donuts’ development of the Dayton DMA is part of its strategic growth strategy, which includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities across the country to help direct the company’s future growth.
