Kyle Krause, president and CEO of Kum & Go, has been elected to serve as chair of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines Board of Directors.
Krause has served as co-vice chair of the Community Foundation since 2006 and chairs its governance and nominating committee. Krause succeeds G. David Hurd and will serve as board chair through December 2010.
“I am honored to be elected as the chair of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines, an organization I have been involved with for almost a decade,” said Krause. “Past chairs have made amazing strides managing and growing assets for the Community Foundation, and I hope to follow their lead. I have a great president, Barry Griswell, and board to help the Community Foundation carry on the quest to improve our quality of life in the Greater Des Moines area.”
The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines works to improve quality of life for all by connecting donors with their passions, fostering links between community organizations and convening local leaders to advance the common good.
