Sunoco Inc., Philadelphia, has joined forces with ACME Markets to launch ACME Gas Rewards, a new program that rewards customers by offering them savings on gas each time they make a qualifying purchase at a participating ACME.
Customers who shop at any of ACME’s 52 Pennsylvania stores will receive an ACME Gas Rewards card when they make a purchase of $50 or more. The one-time-use card can then be used at any of Sunoco’s 75 participating locations to save on fuel purchases. There is no limit to the number of cards that can be earned, and each card is valid through January 2010.
Using the rewards card, customers can save as much as 25 cents per gallon on purchases of up to 20 gallons of gas at a participating Sunoco station. And, the more customers spend, the more they can save. Those who spend $50 at ACME save 5 cents per gallon at Sunoco; $100 earns 10 cents off per gallon; $150 earns 15 cents off per gallon; $200 gains 20 cents off per gallon; and customers who spend $250 and upward can enjoy 25 cents off per gallon.
“At Sunoco, we continue to look for new ways to provide value to our customers. Through partnerships like this one, we can reward their loyalty and help them save more,” said Bob Owens, senior vice president, marketing. “ACME Gas Rewards is simple, easy and can deliver real savings to our customers each time they fuel up.”
