Kum & Go L.C. has opened a new store in Mead, Colo.
The 3,400-square-foot store took only 95 days to construct and is located at Interstate 25 and Highway 66 in Mead.
“We’re excited to offer a brand new store to the residents of Mead,” said Kyle Krause, president and CEO of Kum & Go, which operates 425 c-stores in 11 states (Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming).”We have built great relationships with businesses and patrons within the Front Range and hope to continue that partnership. We appreciate the business Colorado has given us over the years, and we will continue to provide superior service in addition to offering a large selection of quality products.”
The new store features 16 conventional fueling stations, offering unleaded, unleaded plus, premium, E85 and diesel fuels.
In addition to offering quality gasoline, Kum & Go stores feature a wide selection of food and beverage products, including Java Ridge Premium Coffee, Go Fresh Market sandwiches and Nuclear energy drinks. The company also offers potato chips, bottled water, cookies and candy under the well-known Hiland brand name in its stores.
“The store in Mead has already surpassed our expectations in the first month open; we could not be more pleased. We love Front Range community and our associates are first-rate, so I truly believe this is going to be a very successful Kum & Go location for us,” said Phil Hoey, Kum & Go Colorado district supervisor.
As part of Kum & Go’s commitment to developing environmentally-friendly building and operating practices, the new Mead store integrates heavily insulated glass, LED cooler door lights and energy-efficient coolers into its energy-efficient design.
This is the first Kum & Go location in the Mead area and the 34th store in the state of Colorado, including new locations in Loveland, Brighton and Dacono, which opened earlier this year.
