York, Pa.-based Rutter’s Farm Stores recently expanded its fresh-food menu to include turkey wings and sliders, which are available in its 36 stores that offer touch-screen ordering.
The wings offer 2.25 ounces of meat that is marinated and then fried. Wings are available with original, buffalo or spicy seasoning for the price of $1.39 each, and can be ordered one, two or three at a time.
The sliders offer a hamburger or fried chicken patty served on a fresh-baked roll. Yellow American cheese, pickle and onion can be added at no additional cost. Sliders can be ordered in quantities of one ($1.29), three ($3.39), six ($5.94) or 12 ($9.96) at a time.
Customers who purchase wings or sliders using their Rutter’s Rewards cards earn cents off gasoline: one cent off for each wing; one cent for one slider, two cents for three sliders, three cents for six sliders, four cents for 12 sliders.
Rutter’s operates 54 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania.
