A new gas station in Wilton, Conn., is attracting customers with “fair and reasonable prices,” from its coffee bar to the gas pumps, the Wilton Bulletin reported.
Trumbull, Conn.-based Friendly Service Station Inc., is the parent company of the new Citgo station and c-store on 386 Danbury Road. The store opened its doors on Dec. 7, and replaced an old Exxon station.
Currently, the store is offering regular gas is $2.73 a gallon and is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
To mark the store’s launch, Store Manager Eric Gonzalez, is offering 99-cent Baronet coffee in any size cup. “It’s great coffee,” he said. “Flavors include French vanilla, hazelnut, Irish cream and oatmeal raisin.”
Discounts on Pepsi, vitamin water and Turkey Hill ice cream also are available in celebration of the opening. In addition, the store plans to provide coffee cards for discounts to Wilton public school teachers.
