The 9th annual Stripes Kicks Cares For Kids Radiothon raised $103,488.25 for Children’s Miracle Network this past weekend, and donations are still being accepted on the Kicks 99.1FM Web site.
The event took place live from Music City Mall in Odessa, Texas. Those who tuned into Kicks 99.1FM between Feb. 19-21 heard stories of care, love and hope from patients, families and caregivers to inspire listeners to donate to the cause. Guests could also visit Music City Mall during the radiothon to make bids on a silent auction that included items such as signed acoustic guitars.
All proceeds went to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals. Countless individuals, organizations and media partners unite with Children’s Miracle Network hospitals to help sick and injured kids in local communities. Donations to Children’s Miracle Network create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that saves and improves the lives of 17 million children each year.
