Wawa with many locations in southern New Jersey, is heading north to Morris County where it will compete directly with Quick Chek and 7-Eleven, The Daily Record reported.
Wawa plans to build and open its first Morris County store in mid- to late November at the corner of New and Edwards roads in the eastern end of the township near the entrance for Route 280.
Wawa operates 570 locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Most stores are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offer no-fee ATMs.
Company spokesperson Lori Bruce said no other Morris county openings are planned at this time.
