Tri-State Petroleum Corp., a family-owned convenience store operator and wholesale distributor of motor fuels in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, has hired an experienced human resources professional to lead HR initiatives for the company’s 215-plus employees.

David Denham brings more than 25 years of high-level experience as a human resources director to his new position.

Prior to joining Tri-State Petroleum, Denham served as human resources director for the City of Wheeling, W.Va. for seven years, and previously worked for 20 years in various human resources management roles for American Electric Power Corp.  He has managed the administration of human resources programs related to employment, employee relations, training and development, safety, employee involvement, wellness and employee assistance programs.
