Tri-State Petroleum Corp., a family-owned convenience store operator and wholesale distributor of motor fuels in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, has announced that the work of employee Mike Zeiner was selected for Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens’ winter photography exhibit.
Zeiner’s photo, entitled “Mingo Run,” is on display in the Welcome Center Gallery and will be featured through mid-January 2011 in conjunction with Phipps’ Winter Flower Show.
“We’re excited that Mike’s work is being featured as part of Phipps’ winter photography exhibit,” said Colleen McGlinn, CEO of Tri-State Petroleum Corp. “It’s a true honor and he should be very proud of his work.”
A resident of Canonsburg, Pa., Zeiner is a passionate amateur photographer. His photograph, “Mingo Run” was taken at Washington County’s Mingo Creek Park after a snowfall. Zeiner serves as an auditor and trainer for Tri-State Petroleum and has been with the company for almost four years.
The Winter Flower Show at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens runs from Nov. 26, 2010 through Jan. 9, 2011. The show is a celebration of holidays past, present and future with snowmen made of white garden flowers, spectacular hanging baskets and beautifully bedecked evergreens.
