New 24-hour location is set to offer an expanded deli and fresh baked goods section.
Maverik Inc is planning to build a new 4,500 square foot c-store this spring in Monticello, Utah. Construction should be completed in late summer or early fall, the San Juan Record reported.
The new 24 hour store is planned for the corner of Center Street and 300 East, where a Scrapbook Etc building is currently located, and will be Maverik’s newest prototype, featuring an expanded deli and fresh baked products.
Maverik plans to invest more than $3 million in the project, which is expected to feature an island with five pumping stations, and diesel fuel.
“Maverik is know to be quite aggressive with gas pricing,” Dan Murray, a vice president at the North Salt Lake City-based company told the San Juan Record.
Maverik operates 221 stores throughout the Intermountain West, with another 10 stores in progress. “We will undoubtedly be adding additional stores on the western slope of Colorado,” added Murray.
