Halloween-themed promotion to aid St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Royal Buying Group Inc. (RBG) is preparing its 2015 Halloween promotion to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in which customers can donate to the cause in return for a Halloween-themed pinup.
Pediatric cancer kills more children in the U.S. over the age of one than any other disease. In response, from Sept. 29-Nov. 3, businesses across the country like RBG are selling pin-ups for $1 or more to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Since 1962, St. Jude has helped increase the survival rate for childhood cancer from 20% to 80%.
During the month-long Halloween promotion, consumers who donate $1 or more will receive a Halloween-themed pinup that can be displayed at RBG locations across the country to show their support. The donations help St. Jude patients like eight-year-old Carson, who is being treated for osteosarcoma. When Carson started experiencing knee pain, her parents assumed it was a simple sports injury. But tests revealed a mass in her left knee, and Carson came to St. Jude for a limb-sparing surgery. Carson is undergoing chemotherapy now and hopes to return to school and sports when her treatments are completed.

Visitors to our RBG Locations enjoy the festive environment and the pinups not only add to the Halloween décor, but remind our staff and patrons of how they support one of the world’s greatest missions, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”

In addition to the Halloween promotion, RBG will feature St. Jude at its 15th Annual Network Event and Charity Golf Outing. RBG has also created social media campaigns and will help gain participation in the St. Jude Walk/Run-a-thon on Sept. 19, 2015 in Chicago.
Programs such as the St. Jude Halloween Pinup promotion are important because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
