7-Eleven aims to nearly double its store count in Hawaii, expanding to some 100 locations during the next five years, Pacific Business News reported.
The move would give 7-Eleven control of almost one-third of the c-store market in Hawaii. In order to operate the new stores, Seven-Eleven Hawaii Inc. would increase its staff in the Islands from 870 employees now to nearly 1,600, President and CEO Greg Hanna told Pacific Business News.
