GIANT Food Store’s convenience store offers fresh meals, groceries and fuel for on-the-go customers in Lancaster, Pa.

GIANT Food Stores opened the doors of its second convenience store, GIANT To Go, on Thursday, May 19 at 8 a.m. in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pa.

The 4,000 square foot store, located at 2339 Oregon Pike, offers a number of convenient meal solutions for busy customers and families.

“We gained valuable customer insight from our first GIANT To Go location, and this new GIANT To Go will deliver an expanded fresh variety of food coupled with all the traditional convenience store offerings,” said Sean Michael, store manager. “Time-starved customers will find fresh and healthy meal alternatives prepared especially for them.”

Inside the brand new GIANT To Go, customers will find the store has been designed with three distinct shopping areas:  Meals to Go, Groceries to Go and Snacks to Go.

Featuring a wide assortment of to-go options, GIANT To Go offers fresh and healthy food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The store will bring the strengths of GIANT’s fresh food offerings to the on-the-go customer:  made fresh in-store rotisserie chicken and fried chicken, a full salad bar, and all new subs – complete with a toppings bar, which allows customers to customize their own sub. The coffee station will include a self-service espresso and real cappuccino machine, plus flavor shots for fresh brewed coffee. Other unique offerings include fresh sushi made daily, breakfast sandwiches, hot oatmeal, and hot soup.

Customers will also find over 3,000 popular GIANT and national brand grocery items to help customers prepare meals at home. GIANT To Go will also offer snacks and other traditional beverages for customers to enjoy when they stop to purchase gas.

“With this addition of our fourth fuel station in Lancaster County, we are pleased to offer another location and twelve pumps for our customers to redeem their Gas Extra Rewards,” continued Michael.

For every $100 spent on grocery and pharmacy out-of-pocket expenses at any GIANT or GIANT To Go using a Bonuscard, customers will receive 10 cents off per gallon of gas when they fill up through GIANT’s Gas Extra Rewards program. Points can be earned and redeemed now through June 25. A new promotion will begin on June 26.

Headquartered in Carlisle, Pa., GIANT/MARTIN’S is a retail grocer in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, operating under the names of GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets.
