Bringing 20 years of fuels marketing experience from BP, Barrett aims to help customers enhance performance.
KSS Fuels announced that Scott Barrett has joined the management team as vice president of customer pricing and planning management.
Barrett joins KSS Fuels from BP and brings more than 20 years of retail and wholesale fuels marketing experience in the petroleum downstream business. He will define and oversee the delivery of a range of pricing and planning management services aimed at helping KSS Fuels’ customers extract maximum value from their pricing and retail network planning processes.
Barrett joined BP’s Convenience Retail business in 1990, where he held a variety of positions at site and district management levels, including roles in retail network planning, program development, fuels supply and pricing. His most recent position was the pricing programs manager within the Fuels Value Chain, where he led the pricing process design and systems agenda for the US Fuels organization. In this role, Barrett managed process and system integration efforts for the retail, contract and rack channels within BP’s U.S. businesses. He brings deep subject matter expertise to KSS Fuels, along with commercial experience of a range of pricing and retail network planning technologies.
“We’re thrilled to be welcoming someone with such a broad range of skills and industry experience gained from one of the industry’s leading players,” stated Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS Fuels. “Scott’s knowledge of the diverse North American market, together with his exposure to global fuels marketing strategies and practices, will immediately benefit our customers and our company.”
