“This opening affords Mansfield the opportunity to interact more closely with the California energy industry,” says Mansfield spokesperson.
Mansfield Oil Co. has opened a new refined product and renewable fuel operations center in Irvine, Calif.
For more than 50 years, Mansfield has served customers in the retail, government and commercial sectors with transportation fuels and fuels services. “We’re excited to announce the opening of our new California operations center,” said Mansfield President Doug Haugh. “California represents one of the largest global energy markets and, as the nation’s leader in transportation fuel solutions, Mansfield has the unique ability to significantly grow this market while continuing to service our customers across the U.S. and Canada.”
The new Irvine office will house both a regional operations team as well as part of the Mansfield Renewable Energy (MRE) division.
“The Irvine MRE office will handle all sales and scheduling of biofuels for Mansfield in the Western U.S. By maintaining both the refined products and biofuels divisions in this office, we expect to gain greater synergies for both groups as well as better sourcing of biofuels for Mansfield and growing market share for MRE,” said Doug Vind, managing director of the western region for MRE.
Mansfield’s Irvine office will officially debut today, Nov. 29, with an open house.
“This opening affords Mansfield the opportunity to interact more closely with the California energy industry,” said Candace McCraine, general manager for the western region, who will lead the California operations team. “We currently sell refined petroleum products, biofuels and fuel management services throughout California and the Irvine office allows us to offer high-touch service at a local level. Working with our compressed natural gas office in Ontario, California, Mansfield’s regional team provides the most comprehensive portfolio of transportation energy solutions available in the Western U.S.”
