Gala event this fall to honor 12 leaders of the confectionery industry.

Twelve leaders of the confectionery industry are set to be honored with induction into the National Confectionery Sales Association’s (NCSA) Candy Hall of Fame class of 2012 during a gala event scheduled for Oct. 20 in Tampa, Fla., Candy & Snack Today reported.

 Slated for induction are Jim Bourne, of Hilliard’s Chocolate System; Pierson Clair, of Brown & Haley; Judy Cooley, of The Hershey Co.; James Finelli, of The Promotion In Motion Cos. Inc.; Robert Fortunato, of Sledd Co.; Paul Minger, of Walgreen Co.; David Onorato, of The Hershey Co.; John Pola, of Jelly Belly Candy Co.; Fernando Pujals, of Fernando C. Pujals & Bros. Inc.; Tim Quinn, of Mars Chocolate North America; Anthony Rufrano, of Maxim Manufacturing & Marketing; and Phil Shankman, of Shankman & Assoc. Inc.

The event will be attended by hundreds of the honorees’ industry peers, family and friends, with audio/video presentations highlighting both their professional and personal achievements.
