Gilbarco has certified a loyalty program from KickBack Rewards Systems, Twin Falls, Idaho, for use with its Passport point-of-sale (POS) system with Version 6 software. The KickBack Rewards Systems specializes in turnkey, custom-designed proprietary loyalty programs for convenience store operators. Passport supports full integration with KickBack Rewards Systems through a generic, loyalty program interface that may be adopted by the Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards
(PCATS) as the basis for their standard.
“Retailers can improve their bottom lines and differentiate themselves in the market place by using Passport and KickBack to increase customer frequency, raise average ticket value, and improve customer retention,” said Kirsten Paust, Gilbarco’s vice president for retail systems.
“The feature-rich integration between Passport and KickBack Rewards Systems establishes a new standard for POS and loyalty program interfaces,” said Patrick J. Lewis, partner and CEO for KickBack Rewards Systems. Lewis is also a partner as Oasis Stop n’ Go convenience stores.
The KickBack program can accumulate points per total purchase, qualifying purchase, specific combination purchases, per gallon or per visit. Points can be used as currency or to earn premiums. Discounts can be qualified per item, per total, per gallon–or be conditional upon reaching established thresholds for gallons, dollars, number of visits, or method of payment. The program also supports detailed customer messaging and cashier messaging to reinforce participation and simplify use.
KickBack services include loyalty consulting, budgeting, program architecture, creative design, set-up and training, customer relationship management, data entry, customized reporting, and phone/web support. The program can support private transaction networks and debit/ACH programs.
