Jack Link’s Beef Jerky celebrates National Jerky Day with jerky art and a new campaign.
C-stores, retailers and beef jerky fans can celebrate National Jerky Day Tuesday for its popularity and its history.
Jack Link’s Beef Jerky partnered with renowned mosaic artist Jason Mecier to create an original tribute to jerky through his artwork for National Jerky Day.
“I grew up snacking on beef jerky,” Mecier said. “So when I heard about National Jerky Day, I jumped at the chance to pay homage to a legendary snack.”
Leading up to this celebration, Jack Link’s will unveil a new Snackin’ With Sasquatch advertising campaign in honor of the snacking holiday. The latest Messin’ With Sasquatch campaign will also air nationally for Jerky Day.
Mecier’s artwork will be posted on the brand’s Facebook page on Tuesday. The tribute will also be on display on the Rotunda at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn.
“In many ways, jerky is an ideal snack,” said Jeff LeFever, director of marketing for Jack Link’s Beef Jerky. “Naturally packed with protein, jerky will keep you satiated between meals. But since it’s low in fat, calories and carbs, it won’t sabotage a healthy diet.”
