Valero reaches a milestone mark as it rolls out PriceAdvantage at its 100th store.
Valero Corner Stores has met its first milestone by rolling out PriceAdvantage, a fuel price management program, to the 100th store in less than a month.
The Corner Store brand is a network of more than 1,000 Valero company-owned fuel retail locations in the U.S., delivering fast, friendly service to customers. All Corner Store locations are expected to have PriceAdvantage by the end of the summer.
PriceAdvantage is a specialized retail fuel pricing solution fro the convenience store industry, designed to increase efficiency and effectiveness of a retailer’s pricing process. The company helps retailers change prices immediately at the POS, fuel pumps and electronic price signs from a centralized headquarters location.
Aaron McHugh, head of the PriceAdvantage division, said PriceAdvantage is excited to continue the rollout of its program at more than 900 Corner Store locations in the upcoming months. He said he expects the rollout to be completed by Q3.
“Valero is focused on continually improving its retail operations, and we are proud that PriceAdvantage has provided Valero Corner Stores with the necessary functionality and flexibility to achieve this goal,” McHugh said.
Valero Retail Holdings Inc. owns and operates more than 1,000 fuel and c-store locations under the Corner Store brand in mostly Western states.
