American Natural Retail  has acquired Mon Valley Petroleum, a fuel retailer and distributor based in McKeesport, Pa. American Natural Retail is planning a fleet of upscale convenience stores and gas stations with compressed natural gas in the Pittsburgh region, Pittsburgh Business Times reported.

The sale includes 15 Buy-N-Fly gas stations and convenience stores, branded either BP or Exxon, which Mon Valley previously owned and operated.

While Mon Valley’s former president, Hartley King, declined to disclose the value of the sale, he estimated the property assets alone totaled more than $2 million.
