“This is just one of many ways we want to reward our customers for their loyalty,” says Parker’s CEO.
Parker’s recently presented an iPad to Kathy Morgan of Guyton, Ga., the winner of the Parker’s September Text to Win Contest.
“I’ve never won anything before,” enthused Morgan, who works as a purchasing agent at the Effingham County Board of Education. “I’m really excited. I’ve been wanting an iPad for a while. I’m really looking forward to using it.”
Morgan entered the contest after reading about it on the Parker’s Facebook page. The monthly contest, which offers rotating prizes and merchandise, encourages customers to text a specific number to enter the giveaway. The contest is promoted at all area Parker’s stores as well as on the company’s social media channels.
“This is just one of many ways we want to reward our customers for their loyalty,” said Greg Parker, president and CEO of The Parker Companies. “We truly appreciate our customers and love finding creative ways to give back to express our gratitude.”
Parker’s also offers a popular PumpPal program, which saves customers up to 10 cents on every gallon of gas purchased at any of the company’s retail locations in Georgia and South Carolina. Since the program at Parker’s first launched in February of 2011, the company has saved 57,000 PumpPal members more than $2 million on gas.
Parker’s currently operates 27 successful convenience stores across the region and plans to open additional stores in Chatham, Liberty, Effingham, Bulloch, Jasper and Beaufort Counties. Two stores are currently under construction in Garden City, Ga. and Rincon, Ga.
