The NATSO Show 2013 is set for Feb. 2-6 in Savannah, Ga.
NATSO, the trade association representing the truckstop and travel plaza industry, has announced its annual show in Savannah, Ga., Feb. 2-6 at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center.
As the premier gathering place for the nation’s truckstop and travel plaza owners and operators, the NATSO Show is two-and-a-half days of smart ideas, great new products and good advice—all designed to meet the unique needs of the industry’s leaders. At the show, industry executives, buyers and managers converge to collaborate with and learn from top industry experts who share insights on today’s ahead-of-the-curve trends.
“We’ve created a comprehensive conference where industry experts, suppliers and truckstop and travel plaza operators come together to share knowledge and best practices, helping operators uncover cutting-edge solutions and bold strategies that will benefit their business throughout the year,” said NATSO President and CEO Lisa Mullings.
With practical education sessions, countless networking opportunities and engaging speakers, The NATSO Show promises to be a powerhouse event packed with the information truckstop and travel plaza operators, buyers and suppliers need to launch their businesses into tomorrow.
Keynote speakers include Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst with Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), Hank Suerth, CEO of Orion Foods Systems, and Bob Costello, chief economist at American Trucking Associations. Additional speakers will be announced soon.
Sometimes the best knowledge is gained outside of the classroom. With abundant networking opportunities, NATSO’s annual show will be the place to cement the personal contacts that make business successful all year long.
For the second year, The NATSO Show is providing education and networking specifically tailored for future leaders. Future Leader programming is created for those new to their location, the industry or leadership. In Savannah, the conference includes four training-focused sessions, an informal happy hour and a Super Bowl Party hosted by Future Leaders and sponsored by CAT Scale Co.
The NATSO Foundation Golf event will be held in conjunction with The NATSO Show. Held at The Club at Savannah Harbor, home of the PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf Championship since 2003, the event is a chance to be a part of a worthy cause while having a great time on the golf course. Bridgestone Commercial Solutions, KSG Distributing, Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores, Mobil Delvac, Pilot Flying J, and Shell Lubricants are sponsoring the event.
NATSO’s annual show is a catalyst for industry innovation, delivering vital information, networking and business opportunities targeting the diverse constituency of the truckstop industry.
