Andrea Myers takes the helm of Kocolene Marketing LLC, a subsidiary of Kocolene Development, as the new president.
Gary Myers, president and CEO of Kocolene Development Corp., an employee-owned company, recently announced three company promotions.
Andrea Myers has been named president of Kocolene Marketing LLC, a subsidiary of Kocolene Development, effective Oct. 1, 2012. Myers is executive vice president of Kocolene Development Corp. and sits on the company’s Board of Directors, operations committee, management committee, and executive committee and is head of the merchandising department. Myers is in charge of all non-fuel purchases for Kocolene’s 29 retail stores, and is the fourth generation of family leadership for Kocolene, which was founded in 1938.
Celeste Lucas was promoted to the role of Merchandise Associate for Kocolene Marketing LLC on Sept. 4, 2012. Todd DeHaven was appointed operations support manager for Kocolene Marketing LLC on Oct. 16.
Kocolene Development operates Fast Max convenience stores in Indiana and Kentucky, and Smokers Host Discount Tobacco stores in Indiana.

Now the president of Kocolene Marketing and executive vice president of Kocolene Development Corp., Myers grew up in the business and worked in Kocolene stores during summer breaks from high school and college. She received a bachelor of arts in corporate communications public affairs from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, in 2002.
While at SMU, she worked as an assistant to the vice-president of SMU for development and external affairs. In 2001, she received the “Outstanding Student for Corporate Communications and Public Affairs” award within her class of students going for the CCPA major. Myers currently serves on the board of directors of Girls Inc of Jackson County and the National Association of Tobacco Outlets (NATO). In 2012 she was awarded the Pinnacle Award at the NATO annual dinner for her support and significant commitment to protecting the right to sell tobacco products without undue regulation or unfair taxation.
“It has been especially pleasing to see Andrea develop into a valuable leader within our company and also receive recognition nationally as a very knowledgeable leader within our industry,” said Gary Myers.
Celeste Lucas
Celeste Lucas assumed the role of Merchandise Associate for Kocolene Marketing LLC on Sept. 4, 2012. Lucas began her career with Kocolene in 2001 as an assistant manager of a Fast Max convenience store. She also managed several different stores within the Kocolene organization throughout the years. She played a large role during a recent conversion to new computer software companywide, providing manager training at five stores. “Celeste’s field experience and product knowledge will be real assets to our merchandising department,” said Gary Myers.
Todd DeHaven
On Oct. 16, 2012, Todd DeHaven became operations support manager for Kocolene Marketing LLC. DeHaven began his career with Kocolene in 2006 as director of golf with Shadowood Golf LLC, a former subsidiary of Kocolene Development. After the sale of Shadowood Golf Course in July, 2012, DeHaven assisted the new owners with the transition until entering his new position. Currently DeHaven is receiving field training in the Smokers Host and Fast Max Divisions of Kocolene Marketing LLC. “Todd has proven his leadership abilities, organizational skills and can get things accomplished. Todd will provide a fresh perspective to our Kocolene operations,” said Gary Myers.
