Acquisition to broaden chicken line and offer Brakebush new markets for its products.
Foodservice chicken producer Brakebush Brothers has announced the acquisition of Trinity Valley Foods of Irving, Texas, a further-processor of raw, sized, marinated, and ready-to-cook chicken products.
The agreement was finalized on Dec. 31, 2012.
Brakebush Brothers, a supplier of fully-cooked chicken, produces a wide variety of value-added chicken products for the foodservice, chain and industrial markets. Trinity Valley Foods’ national and regional restaurant chain customer base will give Brakebush new markets for its products.
Carl Brakebush, president of the company that bears his name, is enthusiastic about what the acquisition will deliver to customers. “We’re two like-minded companies who share the same set of values and quality expectations. With no duplication in our product offerings, our new portfolio satisfies nearly every fully cooked and ready-to-cook chicken product our combined customer bases need,” he said.
Both companies also share a solid history of business success, dedicated employees committed to continuous improvement, and a focus on customer service.
With this acquisition, Brakebush now operates two production facilities in the U.S. with headquarters in Westfield, Wis. and continues to be U.S. family owned and operated.
