Free concert tickets, coffee and prizes also greeted customers at the Edgewater High’s grand-reopening celebration.
High’s customers had the chance to fuel up for less this morning, March 15. Beginning at 6 a.m. and for the following 107 minutes, customers had the opportunity to purchase regular unleaded gasoline for $1.99 per gallon. The offer was only valid at High’s Edgewater store, located at 116 West Central Ave in Edgewater, in celebration of its grand re-opening after a remodel.
“We’re proud of the improvements we’re making to the chain, including Edgewater,” said High’s Vice President & General Manager Ben Jatlow. “We see this as a great way to engage customers and thank them for their past and future patronage.”
Baltimore’s Classic Rock station WZBA-FM (100.7 The Bay) broadcast its entire morning show (6-10 a.m.) live from the Edgewater High’s, helping to generate excitement and promotion.
“We want to deliver value to customers in any way that we can,” Jatlow added. “The gas discount is a great way to do that, and we’ll also be giving away free coffee, concert tickets and other prizes. We hope the community will come out and see the improvements we’ve made. If they do, they’ll get the best deal on gas they’ve seen in a long time.”
High’s is a subsidiary of the Carroll Independent Fuel Co., based in Baltimore. Currently, there are 51 High’s stores in the state of Maryland.
