A $300,000 gift from Kum & Go and the Krause Gentle Foundation helps Tippie College of Business provide live financial information to students.
The Henry B. Tippie College of Business at The University of Iowa recently unveiled a new stock market video wall, funded by a $300,000 donation from Kum & Go and the Krause Gentle Foundation.
The wall, located inside the Tippie College of Business, will provide real-time financial information for students, faculty and visitors.
“Kum & Go is committed to giving back to the communities we serve,” said Kyle Krause, Kum & Go President and CEO. “With this donation, we’re making an investment in educational excellence, which helps enhance the future of business in Iowa.”
Krause joined Tippie College students, faculty and staff to be among the first to see the new wall during the unveiling event Friday, April 19, in Iowa City, Iowa. “In today’s business world, access to real-time information is critical,” said Sarah Fisher Gardial, Dean, Henry B. Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. “Through this generous donation from Kum & Go and the Krause Gentle Foundation, we’ll provide our students and faculty with up-to-the-second data that’s easily accessible to all.”
