CITGO marketer helps high school students in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Local CITGO Marketer Champlain Oil Co. is set to launch its “Be A Star. Buy A Star.” fundraiser to benefit the “Project Graduation” program at six local high schools.
From May 1-31, seven of Champlain Oil’s CITGO Jiffy Mart locations in New Hampshire and Vermont will sell paper stars for $1 or $5. One hundred percent of the profits will go to “Project Graduation,” a program that provides an adult-supervised and alcohol- and drug-free post-graduation event for high school students.
“We are very excited to launch the first ‘Be A Star. Buy A Star.’ fundraiser and let our customers show their support for these local schools,” said Rob Landry of Champlain Oil. “We’ve seen many of these seniors grow up and we know the families we are helping out. This program gives the whole community a way to show they are proud of the graduating classes and want the students to have a safe way to celebrate.”
Throughout the month of May, customers are invited to visit the following seven CITGO Jiffy Mart locations to purchase the paper stars and help their local high school.
