New site includes 12 gas pumps and five diesel fueling spaces for high-speed trucks.
Rutter’s Farm Stores has opened the doors at its second location in Lancaster county, Pa., providing customers east of the Susquehanna River, more opportunity to take advantage of the Rutter’s Rewards program, the most extensive fuel discount program in the convenience store industry.
One of the largest of the chain’s 58 stores, the 6,280-square-foot site is located at 3849 Hempland Rd. in Mountville, Pa. The new site features 12 fueling spaces and five high-speed truck diesel fueling spaces.
“The instant .04/gallon discount on gas our customers can get by swiping their Rutter’s Rewards card is always a big hit, but they can also earn additional rewards, up to the price of a gallon of gas, by swiping their Rutter’s Rewards when they purchase items inside our store, and there’s even greater customer benefit if the card is registered. We don’t know of another program that offers that kind of flexibility and value to its customers,” said Rutter’s Chief Customer Officer Derek Gaskins.
Every item on Rutter’s unique menu has a rewards value assigned to it, including one-of-a- kind favorites like the walking taco and pastrami burger melt. The menu, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week also features an espresso bar which boasts both hot and cold premium coffee drinks as well as Red Bull, green tea and traditional fruit smoothies.
Smart phone users can download Rutter’s mobile app, the convenience store industry’s first, to access their Rutter’s Rewards account, redeem mobile coupons, find Rutter’s gas prices by store and play games to win free merchandise.
