With two sites under contract, Sheetz negotiates for additional properties.

Sheetz Inc. plans to open more stores in West Virginia, at an anticipated rate of six per year, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Already, a site in Beckley and one in Ripley are under contract, according to David Hazelet, Sheetz real estate manager, as quoted by the Charleston Daily Mail.  Sheetz reportedly is negotiating for about five other sites in towns along the Interstates 77 and 79 corridors.

Altoona, Pa.-based Sheetz has more than 437 locations across six states — Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina — with a total of 44 stores in West Virginia today.
