The newly built store features 16 fueling stations plus a grander Duchess Deli and Crown Café.
Englefield Oil Co. is set to celebrate the grand opening of its Utica Duchess Shoppe on Thursday Sept. 12, 2013 at 12 Columbus Road Utica, Ohio.
The event grand opening event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The store was acquired by Englefield Oil in the early 1970’s and was converted into a Duchess Shoppe a few years later. In December of 2012 the store was torn down and rebuilt and the doors reopened in April of 2013.
“We’ve been part of the Utica community for many years,” said Bill Englefield, IV, co-president of Englefield Oil Co. “I actually worked as a gas station attendant at the original store on the corner, so I have a lot of memories there and hold that location near to my heart. We are proud to continue to be a part of the Utica community.”
The newly built Utica Duchess features 16 fueling stations offering No Lead, Mid Grade, Premium and Diesel high performance BP Fuels. The site also features E-85 as a fuel alternative. The new convenient store is clean, bright and safe. The store itself is approximately 4,000 square feet and features a huge variety of products. The food offering has been improved, including a grander Duchess Deli and Crown Café, Hunt Brothers Pizza, F’Real Milkshakes and more.
“We love the community of Utica and we’re excited to have a brand new store there,” said Ben Englefield, co-president of Englefield Oil Co. “Utica is the perfect example of the communities we desire to be a part of. We are so thankful to the members of this community for their patronage over the years!”
The grand reopening celebration will include a ribbon cutting by Bill Englefield, IV and Utica Village Administrator, Glenn Richards and Fiscal Officer, Anna Flaherty at 10:15 a.m. Englefield Oil will also be presenting a BP Fueling Communities donation check in the amount of $10,000 to Pam Roberts, a representative of the Licking County Mental Health Association at 10:45 a.m. Members of the Utica’s Boys Basketball team will be volunteering at the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The celebration will also include a live radio remote by T-100, Duchess Deli food samples, Velvet Ice Cream samples, Amp Energy samples, Ohio Lottery Spin to Win games and various prizes and promotions.
