For more than 10 years, Sheetz has been gathering its vendors together to establish goals for the coming year, have fun and raise money for the Sheetz Brother Charities.
The vendor event is one of the largest fundraisers for the charities that include the Make-A-Wish Foundation. While raising money through vendor support is an objective of the annual vendor meeting, another key objective of the meeting is to recognize vendors that provide exceptional service.
This year Tom Bandy and BandyWorks out of Chesterfield County received the Sheetz VIP IT Vendor award.
The 450-store chain, which was begun in 1952 remains committed to a strong growth strategy. Its brand is focused on being a gas station that offers outstanding quality, and tasty food for customers on the go. To help maintain its quality brand, Sheetz uses BandyWorks technology to keep accurate and timely information along with maintaining a strict cost control for operations.
“BandyWorks documented their work and provided timely solutions necessary to address the evolving information and insight needs that are key to keeping our business growing,” said Programming Services Manager Steve Winegardner.
