RBG will announce the winners of the thirteenth annual Royal Buying Group Education Scholarship Program at the show.
Royal Buying Group Inc. (RBG) announced that its annual Independent C-Store Expo (I-C-Expo) will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Burr Ridge Marriott Hotel located at 1200 Burr Ridge Parkway, Burr Ridge, Ill.
Additional information regarding the specific events and times will be released in the future as they are determined.
“RBG’s Independent C-Store Expo is the perfect opportunity for retailers to come and meet one-on-one with national representatives from leading c-store suppliers to learn about new products, marketing promotions and opportunities to grow c-store sales,” said Angela Angelilli, RBG’s vice-president of sales. “This is our 18th year of hosting the show and we pride ourselves on making the Independent C-Store Expo a first class event.”
The I-C-Expo allows retailers and suppliers to network while enjoying our reception and an informal atmosphere. All brands of independent retailers are welcome to come enjoy a day’s worth of activities, which includes a trade show exhibit with food, drinks and prizes, networking opportunities, meeting space, and more throughout the night. The I-C-Expo will assist suppliers in receiving in-depth, first hand learning and insight into a key segment of the C-Store Industry. “The independent store operator comprises nearly two-thirds of the c-store industry, but has been the hardest group for suppliers to reach economically,” she added.
Supplier and member awards will be presented at the trade show, and RBG will also be announcing the winners of the thirteenth annual Royal Buying Group Education Scholarship Program. Royal Buying Group will present two scholarships to members and/or members’ children attending or enrolling to attend an accredited secondary educational institution.
