CROSSMARK has announced the appointment of Jay Lenstrom as general manager of Marketing Werks.
Marketing Werks is a CROSSMARK company and a consumer engagement firm in North America.
Naming Lenstrom general manager of Marketing Werks is a significant move that bolsters the company’s leadership. Lenstrom was promoted from Marketing Werks’ chief marketing officer, a position he held for the past two years.
“We are excited to appoint Jay to this lead role and make him responsible for accomplishing our business objectives by leading Marketing Werks’ growth for current and future clients,” said Jim Rose, president, CROSSMARK Marketing Services. CROSSMARK, a sales and marketing services company, acquired Marketing Werks last fall.
Marketing Werks’ offerings include social media, digital, business insights, multi-channel analytics, experiential marketing programs, event marketing, brand ambassadors, sports marketing, pop-up retail events, mobile tours, multicultural, public relations and creative.
In his expanded role, Lenstrom’s goal is to further evolve the 25-year-old agency into a world-class integrated engagement marketing services organization. “Jay is capable of building Marketing Werks’ solid foundation for growth. He is a respected industry veteran who has a proven track record of building and leading large agencies known for innovation, collaboration and thought leadership,” Rose said.
Lenstrom has two decades of agency management experience, including most recently serving as CEO of a group of Omnicom experiential agencies. As General Manager, Lenstrom will report to Rose.
