“Swim Across America is a fantastic organization doing literally life-saving work to help those afflicted with cancer through research, prevention and treatment,” notes chairman of NCASEF.
The National Coalition of Associations of 7-Eleven Franchisees (NCASEF) has chosen Swim Across America (SAA) as its “Charity of Choice” for 2014.
Every year, worthy charities like Swim Across America benefit from the NCASEF’s fundraising efforts, which last year included a cause equity campaign with vendor partners, as well as silent and live auctions and the Joe Saraceno Golf Tournament held at the NCASEF convention. This year’s convention will be held July 12-16 in Orlando, Fla.
NCASEF and its 40 Franchisee Owners Associations around the country have a robust history of giving back. Over the past two years NCASEF has raised over $1 million dollars for various charities, including Hire Heroes USA, MDA, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Local NCASEF FOA member organizations routinely hold golf tournaments, picnics, and other charity fundraising events to benefit charitable organizations in their local areas.
“Our 7-Eleven family of franchisees is proud to be able to give back in ways that make life better for all Americans,” stated Joe Galea, chairman of the NCASEF. “Swim Across America is a fantastic organization doing literally life-saving work to help those afflicted with cancer through research, prevention and treatment, and we applaud their work. We are honored to be able to designate them as this year’s charity of choice and look forward to working with them throughout the year.”
