Now bikers can repair a flat at any Plaid Pantry location.
Plaid Pantry, a convenience store chain with 104 stores in Oregon, is offering bicycle aid stations for customers who arrive at their stores via bikes, according to Bikeportland.org.
The new aid stations are coming soon to all Plaid Pantry locations. Administrative Manager Laura Sadowski told Bikeportland.org that the stations will include a flat repair kit, basic bike tools and a floor pump. All stores will also display a bright yellow “Aid Station” graphic at the main entrance.
Sadowski noted that this idea came from Plaid Pantry Executive Vice President Jonathan Polonksy who is an avid biker.
Bikers can download the Plaid Pantry app to find a location near them.
